New Designs To Our Brands Clothing Line

Recently, The 1991 Streetwear released new editions to our clothing brand, and we’d love to share a little about the designs. Our creations are deeply influenced by our experiences in Dublin—the home of The 1991 Streetwear. Dublin is a diverse city, filled with people from all walks of life. Walking its streets, you’ll see individuals expressing themselves through unique streetwear styles. Streetwear is alive and thriving in Dublin.

At The 1991, we’re all about spreading love. With the news of Dublin-based streetwear brand Emporium opening its physical store on Drury Street, we’re inspired and hopeful about evolving from an online presence to having our own physical location just like Emporium. If you haven’t already, we highly recommend checking out Emporium—either through their website or by visiting their new store in Dublin.

Our designs reflect the importance of standing against hate and embracing love as the guiding value in our actions. Love and compassion allow us to see people for who they truly are, and at their core, we believe everyone is inherently good.

As humans, we all want the same things: to feel accepted, loved, safe, and at peace. However, many of us grow up in environments that do not nurture these values. Instead, we are exposed to hate and harmful teachings that shape our beliefs—beliefs we often accept without question and carry forward.

The 1991 Streetwear is here to remind people that we have the power to choose our own beliefs and values. We don’t have to inherit the prejudices of others. We can reject harmful perspectives and instead embrace love, unity, and understanding.

We all have the ability to choose the right path—to choose love over hate, unity over division. Through our creative expression, we want to build a brand that not only promotes awareness but also encourages people to act with love, especially when engaging with those different from themselves.

Black Joy - Amethyst Style Design:

One of our latest designs, the ‘Black Joy - Amethyst Style’ tee and hoodie, embraces a bold 70s-inspired aesthetic with a deep amethyst filter, giving it a vibrant purple hue. This design represents Black joy—a joy that carries unique depth and significance due to the resilience of the Black community in the face of historical and ongoing struggles with discrimination and racism. With this design, we celebrate the power of joy as an act of resistance, a reminder of the beauty in Black culture, and a testament to the strength and unity that continues to shine through.

United Human Race Design: 

The "United Human Race" t-shirt design is a bold statement of unity, culture, and collective identity. Featuring a handprint adorned with intricate tribal-inspired patterns, the design symbolizes diversity and interconnectedness among all people. The circular border, decorated with geometric shapes in warm yellow and deep purple, reinforces the idea of harmony and inclusivity. The typography, with its organic and slightly playful feel, complements the message of togetherness and shared humanity. This design stands out as both a fashion statement and a powerful reminder that despite our differences, we are all part of one united human race.
